Chairman of the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC) Dennis Ambrose said that he expects the rural activities to kick into high gear soon as the rural CDC’s have already kick started their activities.
Mr. Ambrose’s remarks came on Tuesday at a news briefing which focused on the upcoming shows, specifically the Miss SVG Pageant, scheduled for May 31st.
He said that the CDC have realized that the rural activities have assisted greatly in maintaining the momentum for the entire carnival festivities.
He urged persons to show much patronage for these activities as well as other activities held by private partnership.
The CDC Chairman said it is with all intention that every Vincentian and visitors alike will be included in the festivities regardless they are house bound.
