Spring Village United advanced to the next round in the Knockout Division of the Hairoun Beer Biabou Football League with a 7-6 win on penalties over AXIS Choppins United after a one draw at the end of regulation time yesterday at the Biabou Playing Field.
During regulation time, Urani Spring scored for Spring Village United and the goal for AXIS Choppins United scored by Avenja Dacon.
After the first five penalty kicks, the scores were level at four goals each.
This afternoon, Biabou United and SLR Brownstown Royal Saints will meet in another Knockout match from half past four also at the Biabou Playing Field.
