Vincentian, Marlon James announced his retirement from Football at the weekend in Malaysia where he has been playing Professionally ATM.
The 38 year-old James, a forward who hails from Grenadine Island Bequia, had a shortened season because of injury.
James, who first made his Malaysian League debut in 2004 with Selangor MK Land has garnered a strong fan following especially with Kedah fans.
He won the double, treble, that is the Malaysian Super League, FA Cup and the Malaysia Cup in the 2006/2007 and 2007/2008 seasons with Kedah.
Throughout his time in Malaysia, he was known for his goal-scoring exploits, physical presence and thunder-like shots.
