Vincentians are being encouraged to adopt a market-driven approach to agricultural production in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The advice comes from Chief Coordinator of the Caribbean Farmers’ Network (CAFAN), Jethro Greene.
Mr. Greene said farmers must produce crops for which there are established markets.
Meanwhile, Mr. Greene said efforts are being made to improve the level of cooperation among stakeholders in the agricultural sector.
