Chief Executive Officer, of the St. Vincent Electrical Services (VINLEC) Thornely Myers said that there is more work to be done as it regards to safety.
Mr. Myers said that in an effort to strive for greater operational efficiency, the company continues to bench- mark its performance against regional and international utilities.
He said in many areas, VINLEC is up to par, and in some areas they perform much better than its peers. But in the area of safety he said, there is much more work to be done for the benefit of the company and that of its customers.
Mr. Myer’s addressed persons present at the official launching of the company’s Evenrionmental Health and Safety Awareness month.
The company will host a month long series of activities to observe Environmental health and safety awareness.
