Minister of Education Girlyn Miguel, has outlined the negative impact of violence in Schools.
Minister Miguel spoke on the issue, as she delivered a radio address to mark the start of Child Month 2014, which is being observed under the theme: Tolerance today for a violence free world tomorrow.
The slogan for this year’s activities is: Let Peace Begin with me.
In her message, Minister Miguel said violence in Schools creates an unstable environment, which affects the performance of Teachers and Students.
Minister Miguel said values such as tolerance must be promoted by Parents and Educators, to improve the school environment.
