A call is being made for a greater level of public awareness on issues relating to child abuse awareness and prevention in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The call was made by Minister of Social Development and the Family, Frederick Stevenson, during NBC’s Views On Issues programme on Sunday.
The discussion focused on the topic: “Protecting our children, safeguarding the future of our nation”.
It coincided with the culmination of activities to mark Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month in April, which were held under the theme: Let Our Voices Be Heard, Let Us Know You Care, Break The Silence.
