Contract Signing
Construction work on the South Leeward Highway rehabilitation is expected to commence in June this year, at an estimated cost of 40-million dollars.
The Contract has been awarded to Dipcon Engineering, and according to Director Ian Singh, the project is likely to last for twenty one months.
The project is being funded by the Caribbean Development Bank, and will involve the rehabilitation of the road from the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital down to Layou.
