A two-day training workshop will be held here today, as part of a thrust to develop a Court Based Diversion Program Strategy for St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The OECS Secretariat has contracted the services of Consultant Jacqueline Sealey-Burke to develop the strategy here.
According to a release from the Ministry of National Mobilization, the training follows national consultations with stakeholders in February this year.
The workshop is geared towards underscoring the importance of diversion and familiarizing persons with the models proposed in the strategy.
The training workshop takes place on Monday and Tuesday at the Sunset Shores Conference Room beginning at 9am daily.
