Chief Engineer in the Ministry of Transport and Works Brent Bailey says Vincentians can look forward to seeing significant improvements to the Leeward Highway when the project gets underway.
Mr. Bailey was speaking at a ceremony yesterday or the contract signing between the Ministry of Transport and Works and Dipcom Engineering.
He said every effort will be made to minimize the traffic congestion to the travelling public for the duration of the project.

The 40-million dollar South Leeward Highway Rehabilitation Project is being funded by the Caribbean Development Bank.
It will involve the rehabilitation of the road which stretches from the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital down to Layou.
