Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said the government will welcome any form of assistance, which will contribute to the ongoing national rebuilding effort in the aftermath of the December 2013 floods.
Speaking at a news conference on Wednesday, Dr. Gonsalves said this country received numerous pledges of assistance from regional and international agencies following the devastation.
However, the Prime Minister explained that the type of assistance needed is that which will make tangible contributions to the rebuilding process.
Dr. Gonsalves also noted that the government is in discussions with Ecuador about possible assistance in bridge construction.
