West Indies fast bowler Kemar Roach has escaped with minor injury following a car crash on a rain-lashed Bridgetown road in Barbados at the weekend.
Roach was reportedly speeding away when his BMW car flipped over several times before landing in the 3Ws Park. The Barbados Today online Newspaper said the 25-year-old suffered a head injury and was taken to Hospital.
Roach took to Twitter a few hours later after the accident to reveal that he was recovering and in good health. He tweeted sorry To Scare My Friends, Family and Fans, but he is Straight! He said Thanks for the Love! Bless Up.
Roach has played 23 Tests and 61 One-Day Internationals, but has not appeared for West Indies in nearly a year because of a shoulder injury.
