This country’s arrowroot sector has seen a vast increase in production since the start of this year. So said Agricultural Minister Saboto Ceasar.
Speaking at a media briefing last week, Mr. Ceasar said that this year there was a 20,000 pounds increase in starch as opposed to the 26,000 pounds starch production in 2013.
Mr. Ceasar said the preliminary figures are currently showing that this country is now at 46,000 pounds of starch. The Agricultural Minister said farmers should continue to show interest in their livelihood for the continuation of growth and development for the agricultural sector.
