The National Commission on Crime Prevention, NCCP will host a Symposium tomorrow, as part of a series of activities being held under the theme: “Hear The Children”.
The main presenter will be Dr. Johnnetta McSwain-Clay from Georgia, U.S.A. an Author, Emmy Award Winning Documentarian, and International Empowerment Speaker.
The NCCP says Dr. McSwain has developed a book entitled; ‘Breaking the Cycle, Beating the Odds”, aimed at empowering children and youth from all backgrounds to break their negative cycles and beat the odds that they may face in their daily lives.
Dr. McSwain’s work will be discussed in detail this afternoon, at a News Conference to be hosted by the NCCP, from two o clock at its Office at the Cruise Ship Terminal.
Tomorrow’s Symposium will be held at the Methodist Church Hall from nine in the morning.
