Minister of Foreign Affairs, Camillo Gonsalves said small island developing states like St. Vincent and the Grenadines have historically been vulnerable to fundamental changes that were instigated by external actors and events.
He was speaking at Monday’s launch of the Second Annual Inter-American Exhibition, held at the National Public Library as part of activities to commemorate Pan-American Day on April 14th.
Minister Gonsalves said this country’s active foreign policy continues to be a major factor in the country’s resilience to external challenges.
Minister Gonsalves said a central pillar of such a foreign policy is this country’s principled engagement in multilateral forums and hemispheric bodies.
