Coordinator of the Windward Island Farmers Association (WINFA), Cozel Peters-Fraser said her organisation is planning to hold wide range of developmental programs for the entire Agricultural sector during this year.
Mrs. Peters-Fraser tells NBC News that when people hear the name WINFA they often think only about bananas but they trade a wide range of other Agricultural produce.
She said their mandate is to work in all the rural communities with farmers, agro-processors and everyone else in the Agricultural sector.
Mrs. Cozel Peters-Fraser said during this year they will be seeking to strengthen the agro-processing
sector while networking to ensure the continued development of the Banana sector.
