The Fisheries Division says following the recently hosted Coral Reefs program, they are now better equipped to manage the nation’s aqua marine systems.
This statement was made by Fisheries Officer, Chris Isaacs following the program which took place under the Caribbean Aqua-Terrestrial Program dubbed the CATS Project from March 19th to the 27th.
Mr. Isaacs said during this program many Vincentian professionals were trained in aspects of Reef Management and it was a huge success.
He noted that they will be holding a number of follow-up and public sensitization programs in this regard.
Mr. Isaacs said these programs will climax with the establishment of the South Coast Marine Park.
