This view was expressed by Minister of Agriculture and Parliamentary Representative for South Central Windward, Sabuto Caesar during Saturday’s Pan Against Crime Concert which was held at Byera.
Minister Caesar said the Government saw the need to reduce Crime and its causes and hence the Pan Against Crime initiative was born to keep the youths engaged in positive activities.
The Minister said while the crime rate in St. Vincent and the Grenadines is not as bad as many other countries, the Government continues to invest in the youths to ensure that crime continues to reduce.
Minister Caesar also appealed to the organizers of the Pan Against Crime program to host the next event in the Diamonds Community.
He also called on the nation’s children to maximize the education opportunities which are being made for them by the Government.
