The Fisheries Division recently collaborated with the University of the West Indies to hold a Coastal Management program.
Fisheries Officer, Chris Isaacs tells NBC News that a thirteen-member delegation from the University of West Indies visited the state from March 17th to 21st.
He said during the program the UWI students conducted programs in Coastal Zone Metric Skills, beach measurements and other programs of coastal management.
Mr. Isaacs said a number of other state agencies also participated in the program which assisted the Fisheries division in its own coastal management program.
