Minister of Health, Wellness and the Environment, Clayton Burgin has appealed to the nation’s Police Officers to work closely with members of the public and respect them at all times.
He made this appeal as he addressed the 32nd Passing Out Parade hosted by the Police Force last week.
A total of fifty seven new recruits passed out during the ceremony.
Minister Burgin reminded the Police Officers that they are members of a very noble profession and he called on them to do their part to uphold the respect of this institution.
He also called on the public to foster a positive relationship with the Police.
Minister Burgin also reminded the Police Officers that it is their duty to protect every Vincentian while maintaining law and order.
He stressed that they should strive to be professionals at all times.
