Motorists travelling into Kingstown are being alerted to road diversions which are being implemented to accommodate work on the Murray’s Road Rehabilitation Project.
The Ministry of Transport and Works says the Windward Highway between the Murray’s Village intersection and the Bus Stop at the Girls High School will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic travelling into Kingstown from seven tonight until two tomorrow morning.
Vehicular traffic going into Kingstown would be diverted down to Sally Spring, through Frenches, and exit at the Stop Light Restaurant.
The Ministry says traffic travelling out of Kingstown would not be affected by the closure.
Work on the project commenced on Sunday, and is scheduled to be completed in about four months.
