Chief Executive Officer of the Tourism Authority Glen Beach has said that St. Vincent and the Grenadines is not as recognized as some neighbouring Countries as it relates to the cruise ship industry.
In an exclusive interview with NBC News on Monday, Mr. Beach said that there are a lot of factors which is influencing this country’s cruise ship sector.
He said one such issue is because St. Vincent and the Grenadines is located in the southern Caribbean.
Mr. Beache said this country accommodated over two hundred cruise ships last year.
He however said that the tourism ministry does not determine the number of cruise ship that visit our shores as compared to neighboring Caribbean islands who accommodate cruise ships daily.
Mr. Beach said that most of this country’s cruise ship arrivals hails from the United States.
