A retired Police Officer has been arrested and charged with theft.
Police say 42-year-old Raymond Stephenson, retired police officer of Vermont, was arrested and charged with the theft of 29 grams of gold, valued 15-hundred dollars, the property of Teresa Simmons of Rockies.
The item was said to be stolen in Kingstown in January 2013.
Meanwhile … Forty-five year old Erickson Browne, a Police officer of Biabou, was arrested and charged with knowing or believing that 29 grams of gold to be stolen goods, dishonestly assisted in the disposal of same, at Kingstown, between January 1st and 31st last year.
