Tributes will be paid to this country’s first Chief Minister Ebenezer Theodore Joshua today, at a wreath-laying Service organized by the Ministry of Culture, as part of activities to mark National Heroes and Heritage Month.
The ceremony will be held at the Chapel of the Kingstown Cemetery from four in the afternoon.
A second wreath-laying service will be held on Monday March 31st at 10:00am at the Calliaqua Cemetery, to honour the memory of this country’s first Prime Minister Robert Milton Cato and Phyllis Punnett, who wrote the words for the National Anthem of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
