A cheque valued EC$ 20,000 dollars was handed over to the minister of health wellness and the environment on Tuesday from the SVG returning nationals.
The donation, intended for the upgrade of the female ward at the Milton Cato memorial hospital was handed over to the minister at the ministry of health conference room.
Speaking at the handing over President of the SVG Returning Nationals Nyoka Clouden said she was pleased to make the donation and expressed gratitude to the other individuals and organizations that assisted in making the donation possible.
And Minister of Health Clayton Burgin expressed gratitude to the SVG returning nationals for the donation and said the ministry is continuing to construct lasting bridges with friendly governments to improve the health sector.
