A team from the United States will be here next week to provide Medical Services to the people of this country.
The St Vincent and the Grenadines Mission of Seventh-day Adventists will host the “United States Based Medical Mission Team” from March 21st to 30th.
A release from the mission says the team is comprised of thirty professionals and practitioners, which includes doctors, nurses, health educators, dentists and dental students from Loma Linda University, California.
Dr. Janice Emanuel Bunn, President of the Brooklyn -based Action Performance Commitment (APC) Medical Mission Team, said the goal of the mission is to provide quality medical services, dental care and health education while in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Health Director of the SVG Mission of SDA, Pastor Terence Haynes, is coordinating the mission trip in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment.
Pastor Haynes said the team will be engaged in a number of activities, including a Health Symposium on Saturday, March 22nd at the Calder SDA Church.
This will be followed by a Health EXPO on Sunday, March 23rd at the Community College.
