The Consumer Affairs Division has announced plans to increase its Education and Awareness programs for this year.
Head of the Division Janice King says that consumers are not fully aware of their rights and responsibilities.
She said that in an attempt to offer more protection to consumers the ministry is currently working on a consumer protection bill, while efforts continue to educate consumers about their rights.
Meanwhile … Mrs. King said that efforts are continuing to ensure the growth and development of the local Business Sector
