Vincentians are being encouraged to make positive lifestyle changes to reduce the risk of Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases (CNCD’s)
The advice came from Dr. Rosmond Adams, the focal point of CNCD with the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment, during NBC’s Views on Issues programme last week.
Dr. Adams said Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases are the leading causes of death globally, and is reflected in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Dr. Adams also spoke of the need for increased dialogue on the impact of Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases on the nation’s youth.
