“Celebrating Ten Years of Transformation Through Education; Turning Challenges into Opportunities.” is the theme under which the West St. George Secondary School is celebrating ten years of existence.
A number of activities to celebrate the milestone, as well as the launch of the Young Leaders Project was held at the school this morning.
Acting Principal of the school Dianne Williams said the school was started because of the need to capture a number of students who unsuccessful at the common entrance examinations.
She highlighted some of achievements which the school has made over the past few years.

Meanwhile … Parliamentary Representative of the West St. George Constituency Cecil Mckie said the school have grown in many aspects and will continue to work with the school to ensure further development.

And … President of the Young Leaders group Melone Edwards said their project will focus on diversity in education.
She also listed a number of other projects which the group will undertake.
The theme for the west St. George Secondary School Young Leader’s project is “Advancement with Inclusion.”
