Participants at a just concluded Community Resilience workshop are now better positioned to assist persons who are struggling to cope with the after-effects of disasters.
Representatives from various government departments, as well as Teachers and Counsellors, were engaged in the four day Seminar, designed to help sharpen their skills in “Psycho-Social Health”.
The seminar was conducted by the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Mission of Seventh Day Adventists and facilitated by Dr. Adam Archiga and Dr. Winetta Baker of Loma Linda University, California.
Speaking at this afternoon’s closing, Dr. Baker said the workshop was a success and praised the participants for their involvement.
