The Traffic Department of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines police force is still facing a number of issues regarding citizens and the importance of wearing a seatbelt.
The issue was highlighted during the police on the beat program aired on NBC radio Monday night
Corporal Henry Providence said a number of persons are non-compliant with the seat belt regulations that were implemented in 2006.
He said persons who fail to wear their seatbelts are in breach of the regulations.
Corporal Henry providence is appealing to colleagues in the out districts to make a more concerted effort to ensure that persons wear their seatbelts.
