The Housing and Land Development Corporation (HLDC) said the ongoing relief and recovery process is progressing smoothly.
This follows the damage which was caused during the disaster on Christmas Eve into Christmas Day in December 2013.
General Manager of the Housing and Land Development Corporation (HLDC), Elvis Charles said they have already commenced the distribution of building material as well as the construction of homes for those persons whose properties were affected during Trough System.
Mr. Charles noted that they are pressing ahead speedily to have people’s lives returned to normal.
