The Ministry of Agriculture says it is working to ensure that local farmers take full advantage of the six million dollar Support Revolving Fund which is being made available to them.
Agriculture Minister Saboto Caesar said they are continuing to place significant focus on recovery in the Agricultural Sector in the immediate aftermath of the December Trough System.
Minister Caesar said the Extension officers are required to assist the farmers in developing their business plans.
He said this is necessary to ensure the transparency of the entire program.
