The Adult and Continuing Education (ACE) Division says it is continuing to develop the programs which it offers, to meet regional and international standards.
This was revealed by Senior Education Officer at the Adult and Continuing Education (ACE) Division, John “Zan” George during last week’s official opening of a six week Garment Making workshop which is being held at the Doris Mckie Learning Resource Center at Upper Cane Hall.
Mr. George said they continue to devise programs to cater to the development of people older than age fifteen, outside of the formal educational system.
He said they are seeking to ensure that their technical programs meet the standards of the Caribbean Vocational Qualifications (CVQ’s).
Mr. George said achieving these standards will ensure that persons can travel across the region and receive jobs with the certificates they receive when they complete their ACE programs.
