Minister for Health, Wellness and the Environment, Clayton Burgin is in Venezuela, to attend the Meeting of Ministers of Health of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples our America—Trade Treaty of Peoples (ALBA—TPC).
The Meeting is being held in response to the commitments contained in the Act of the Fifth Meeting of the ALBA Social Council and the Second Summit of Heads of State and Government ALBA TCP-PETROCARIBE.
The Ministry of Health says in a release that this important meeting’s main objective is to reinvigorate the commitments in the area of Health to strengthen the right of universalisation of Health of our people.
Minister Burgin is accompanied by the Chief Medical Officer, Dr Simone Keizer Beache.
