Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has made it clear that the Deputy Consul General in New York Edson Augustus is no longer employed by the Government.
The Prime spoke to the issue at a Media conference this morning.
He said that Mr. Augustus was here for a meeting yesterday, but he has already left the country.
Mr. Augustus, was recalled from his post as Deputy Consul General in New York because of reports that he offered to help persons in the United States to secure U.S. Permanent Resident Cards – Green Cards.
