The Ministry of Housing has signed a contract with Willo’s Construction Company for the building of a major roadway in Pembroke.
The project is funded by the Government of China on Taiwan at a cost of more than two million EC dollars to construct a roadway in Pembroke for persons who were relocated due to the landslides at Gibson’s corner some fifteen years ago.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Minister of Housing Montgomery Daniel said the project is expected to provide about a half a mile of road to the residents in Pembroke.
