Twenty final year students from the University of Trinidad and Tobago, formerly the Eastern Caribbean Institute of Agricultural and Forestry will pay a one week visit to St. Vincent and the Grenadines next week.
A release from the Ministry says the Students will be on a study tour of the island to learn about various Agricultural Practices as well as share some of their experiences with Farmers.
A packed program has been organized which include visits to the Botanical Gardens and the Nicholls Wildlife Complex, the Tissue Culture Laboratory, the livestock research station at Rabacca and the Kingstown Port to observe the quarantine procedures involving the exportation of agricultural produce to Trinidad and Tobago.
