The Government is currently preparing projects for the rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts, following the flooding and landslides which occurred on Christmas Eve.
This was revealed by Chief Engineer, Brent Bailey, who said that the first aspect of this program will be to install Bailey Bridges in the affected communities to ensure the ease of travel as they prepare to embark on other projects.
He said the Prime Minister has already contacted the relevant authorities in St. Lucia to have them provide these Bailey Bridges which the nation requires.
