The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment is in the process of implementing a rehabilitation and mitigation program to ensure that its facilities are more resilient in the event of future disasters.
This was revealed by Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Simone Keizer -Beache while speaking at a recent News Conference.
Mrs. Keizer -Beache said the Community Nurses and Doctors are also continuing to conduct regular surveillance and monitor the situation to ensure that there is no outbreak of any diseases.
She said they are also continuing to work with the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) as well as local stakeholders to have all wings at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital fully operational.
