Police have made an arrest in connection with an armed robbery which occurred here on Thursday last week.
Police say 26-year-old Jariel Belle of Paul’s Avenue was arrested and charged on Tuesday with allegedly robbing Raymond Durrant of Ratho Mill at gunpoint of one green St. Hill Insurance Company Limited bag, containing a sum of money in cash and cheques and one 9mm pistol and four rounds 9mm ammunition.
According to the Police, Belle is also charged with possession of an unlicensed firearm and two (2) rounds of ammunition.
