Governor General Sir Frederick Ballantyne said the government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines will continue to place major emphasis on infrastructural development in 2014.
He gave this assurance while delivering the Throne Speech in Parliament last month, to mark the start of the Fourth Session of the Ninth Parliament.
Sir Frederick said while the December storms have caused significant damage to the country’s infrastructure, the government will continue to embark on its planned projects.
Sir Frederick said the foreign assistance received by this country in response to the December floods, is the result of this country’s foreign policy agenda.
