Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves will receive a donation towards the National Recovery Effort today from the Mustique Charitable Trust.
The presentation comes as a number of local businesses continue to give their support to the national
recovery effort, as the Government seeks to assist persons who lost their homes and possessions during the floods of December 24th last year.
On Wednesday this week, over sixty residents of Spring Village, one of the areas worst affected by the trough system, received refrigerators, stoves and mattresses as part of the ongoing effort.
The donations were made possible through assistance from Telecommunications Provider Digicel, Courts St. Vincent Ltd and Rubis.
And last Friday, over a similar presentation was made to over sixty residents in the Buccument area.
Today’s presentation will take place at Cabinet Room from eleven this morning.
