The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment is making a concerted effort to combat Land Degradation in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
To this end, the Ministry is implementing a project to revise the National Action Program to address land degradation.
Representative from the Environmental Department, Naretta John says Land Degradation is a global challenge that has a severe impact on the environment.
She says the Ministry will host several consultations to explore solutions to this challenge.
The other panelists were manager of the Solid Waste Management Unit Winsbert Quow; Director of Forestry Fitzgerald Providence and Farmer and Agricultural Consultant, Philmore Isaacs.
