The Manager of the Solid Waste Management Unit Winsbert Quow has highlighted the importance of the environment, noting that it is everyone’s responsibility to take care of it.
Mr. Quow said waste management is a national issue and the Unit will continue to devise ways to ensure that persons are aware of their environmental responsibility.
As part of fulfilling this goal, Mr. Quow said the Unit will be involved in a major project this weekend in collaboration with All Island Recycling.
