As the Local Scouts Association prepares to celebrate one hundred years of Scouting in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the Movement is focusing on building Cub Scout Packs across the country.
This is according to President of the Association Morrison Baisden who was speaking at a Media Conference on Tuesday to announce the series of activities planned to observe the milestone.
Mr. Baisden says the Association is making significant progress in increasing membership at the Cub Scout level.
The Scout Association turns one hundred on April 17th and the Association has planned an activity for every month until December.
The activities include participation in national events, church services, lectures, community projects and events hosted by Chief Scout, Governor General Sir Frederick Ballantyne.
