The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Red Cross Society is preparing to work with a number of agencies to ensure that it maximizes the training offered to Vincentians in the operations of its newly acquired Water Purification Unit.
This was revealed by Communications Officer for the local Red Cross Society Rendall Allen.
He said they will conduct a series of training sessions in the upcoming weeks for the unit which they recently received from the French Red Cross.
Mr. Allen said the upcoming training sessions will be carried out in collaboration with the Central Water and Sewerage Authority (CWSA) and the Ministry of Health with support from the International Federation of the Red Cross.
He said they will also be involved in a National Hygiene Campaign also with the CWSA and the Ministry of Health.
