The National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) says it will continue to work closely with the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Red Cross to ensure that all persons who were affected by the Christmas Eve natural disaster receive assistance.
Speaking at a recent News Briefing, Director of NEMO, Howie Prince said it will cost the Government 2.6 million dollars to provide food for the affected persons for the next six months.
He said NEMO is continuing to work with community organizations to ensure that the affected persons are the ones who receive this assistance.
Mr. Prince said NEMO will also be collaborating with the Red Cross to provide food for affected persons at the community level and also in the Emergency Shelters.
