A top regional agriculture official has emphasized the importance of training in the continued thrust to ensure the sustainability of the region’s agricultural sector.
The point was made by Chief Coordinator of the Caribbean Farmers’ Network (CaFAN), Jethro Greene, on the heels of a 4-day regional planning workshop which was held here last week.
The workshop brought together young agriculturalists from ten Caribbean countries as part of efforts to engage young people in the Caribbean Agricultural Policy process.
