The St. Vincent Electricity Services Limited, VINLEC, suffered an estimated 14-million dollars in damage overall from the flooding and landslides which occurred here in December last year.
The company hosted a News Conference today, to brief the media on the damage and to discuss the way forward
In his presentation, Chief Executive Officer Thornley Myers said damage to the transmission distribution system is estimated at some 120 thousand dollars.
